Daily reports
Today was our first day of evangelism. We started at 9 a.m. and went to the village of Vieux-Habitants in Basse-Terre, about one hour from where we are staying.
When we arrived at the evangelism site, there was a race taking place. It was a bit challenging to find a spot because there was already a lot of sound equipment set up. Once we found our place, we set up and began proclaiming the Gospel!
After I preached, a young boy ran after me and shared that he really appreciated my message. I then shared the Gospel with him. He already believed in Jesus, so I prayed for him to receive the Holy Spirit. After the prayer, he told me he felt something in his heart!
The day continued and we witnessed many healings, especially within one family!
A brother shared the Gospel with a father who gave his life to Jesus and was healed from back pain. Then he pointed out his daughter, who had a problem with her foot. We prayed for her and she was instantly healed! At the same time, I shared the Gospel with the mother and asked her: “If God were here, would you let Him into your heart?” She answered yes.
I prayed for her to encounter the Holy Spirit, and she was deeply touched. Tears filled her eyes, and she gave her life to Jesus!
It was an intense day, and the sun was strong (very different from Alsace 😊).
Looking forward to tomorrow!
Today, for the second day, we left our lodging at 7 a.m. to share the Gospel at Place de la Victoire in Pointe-à-Pitre! I’m still moved by what the Holy Spirit did this morning — let me tell you!
We started setting up our equipment, and before proclaiming the Gospel, we decided to take time to pray right where we were. We began praying and put on some instrumental worship music through our speaker. After a few minutes, a strong presence of God filled the place. A song came to my heart — “Agnus Dei.” We played the song and lifted our voices in worship, and the presence of God became stronger and stronger. I was in tears!
This moment continued — we hadn’t even started preaching the Gospel yet. At the far end of the square, I saw some women who were hearing the worship and raising their hands to the sky. I went over to them — they were clearly touched by the moment. They were Christians, and I asked one of them, “You’re a Christian, but have you had an encounter with the Holy Spirit? Do you speak in tongues?” She replied, “No, but I want to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit!!”
I began to pray for her, and she was completely filled with the Holy Spirit and started speaking in tongues! Then her friend next to her — I asked her the same question, and she gave me the same answer. She added, “I’ve been struggling with depression and anxiety.” I prayed for her, cast out every spirit of depression, and she was delivered! After that, she received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and began speaking in tongues too!
But it didn’t stop there! While all this was happening, a woman who was just passing by stopped to watch. And again — same story. I asked if she was a Christian. She said yes. I asked if she had received the Holy Spirit. She said no. You can guess the rest — she left that place baptized in the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues!
All of this happened before we even officially started evangelizing — it was only 8:30 a.m.! The Holy Spirit completely surprised me. I honestly have no words to express the gratitude I feel for what God did in just 10 minutes.
The day continued with many more testimonies: healings, people giving their lives to Christ… it was incredible. Jesus is so wonderful. Truly, there’s nothing more beautiful than seeing God transform lives. May all the glory be His. Amen.
Third day! I woke up and spent time with God. I reread Acts 19, which talks about Paul baptizing believers in the Holy Spirit — if I could summarize it briefly. After the powerful day we had yesterday, I thought, “Awesome Lord, here we go again — another day full of baptisms in the Holy Spirit!”
But then we began evangelizing, and things turned out very differently than yesterday. At our first location, there was hardly anyone around. I was confused… until the Lord reminded me that He is a creative God — and that He wasn’t going to copy and paste yesterday’s experience.
I waited on God, and it became clear when we arrived at our second spot. We came to a beach area with a park full of children. There were tons of school classes of all ages enjoying a break. That’s when I realized how God wanted to use us today!
We set up our equipment and began preaching the Gospel to the children! Based on what we can see on video, 28 children made decisions for Jesus through the proclamation of the Gospel! On top of that, a teacher we spoke with between messages also gave her heart to Jesus!
Sharing the Gospel with children is so important — they are the adults of tomorrow! Thank You, Lord, for what You did today in the hearts of these little ones. And honestly, I think doing kids crusades might be something I’d really enjoy. I was so touched by all these children shouting the name of Jesus with so much joy and innocence.
We were in Pointe-à-Pitre with a team of local believers! It was the calmest day of the week. We spread the Gospel through the streets of the city, walking and preaching at the same time.
Today, I truly witnessed the effectiveness and impact of proclaiming the Gospel. We were walking down a small street with no one around — the sidewalks were empty. But the surprise came when we stopped at that very spot, and just a few minutes later, someone came out onto their balcony. He was at home, but because of the proclamation, the Gospel entered his house — and he accepted Jesus from his balcony!
After that, we asked him to come down so we could meet him. He came down a few minutes later, filled out a decision card, gave us his contact information, we prayed for him, blessed him, and continued on our way…
The power of sharing the Gospel through proclamation is that it’s not limited to the people we see or those standing in the streets — it goes beyond walls!
What a beautiful day!!
This morning, we flooded the streets of Pointe-à-Pitre with the Gospel! We did everything we could to spread the word about the first evening of the CHRISTival, which took place tonight!
While we were in the streets, I met a young man who gave his life to Jesus! I prayed for him to have an encounter with the Holy Spirit. At the end of the prayer, he looked at me in awe and said it was the first time he had ever felt the presence of God!
The day continued until the evening — the first night of the CHRISTival! What a divine appointment!! I don’t have the words to describe everything God did in the lives of His children! Salvation, healing, deliverance — the Holy Spirit was moving powerfully, as always!
