Evangelistic mission youth campaign in Côte d’Ivoire — 14,399 decisions for Jesus !
Today was an exceptional moment. Even before joining the teams in Aboisso, I had the opportunity to go with my wife and Pastor Austin Demine to share the Gospel in Abidjan! About a hundred young people heard the Gospel and received Jesus !
This morning, we hit the road to a location about an hour and a half from our hotel. We arrived without an appointment, trusting that we would be given the opportunity to share our message with the youth. A man welcomed us and agreed to let us gather the young people at noon.
We waited about 30 minutes to set up the equipment, and then we found ourselves facing 540 young people! A large number — if not all — made a decision for Jesus. It was wonderful!
We continued our day, but after that, we lost a wheel while driving… The bolts had vanished. But thank the Lord, the problem was fixed, and we were able to continue on to join the rest of the team who were preaching with the gospel truck. The Gospel was again shared with a large crowd, and many made decisions for Jesus!
A wonderful first day!
Today, we set out in the morning and arrived at our first meeting place to share the Gospel with 900 young people! Everyone was already gathered when we arrived. We set up our equipment and proclaimed the Gospel! We witnessed hundreds of decisions for Jesus!
Our second meeting was just a few kilometers away. This time, the audience was a bit younger, about 500 young people. The Gospel was shared without any problem, and again, we saw hundreds of decisions for Jesus. It was incredible!
We ended our day with the “gospel truck,” proclaiming the Gospel in a marketplace. What’s amazing here, compared to Europe, is that there’s a lot of interaction; people are very responsive, and at every altar call, many make decisions for Jesus. It’s truly wonderful!
oday, we left at 6:30 AM to reach our first meeting with about 500 young people. Although our time was shortened by the site managers, the Gospel was clearly shared, and most of them were able to receive Jesus into their hearts!
After that, we headed to our second meeting, where around a hundred young people were waiting for us. We gathered everyone and, as usual, cast the nets, with many of them also accepting Jesus into their hearts!
Today was the first part of the youth conference with our guests, “Les Bloom,” the youth team from Vase d’Honneur! Using the Gospel Truck, we joined forces and combined our evangelism methods, and it worked wonderfully. They are very talented dancers, which draws a large crowd! Once the people were gathered, all that was left was to cast the nets: preaching the Gospel, calling for repentance, and we truly had a miraculous catch tonight! The biggest one we’ve seen during our Gospel Truck evenings !
Today was the day of our youth event! We gathered in a church with Les Bloom from Vase d’Honneur for the screening of their film!
This film is truly a powerful tool to raise awareness among young people about the dangers of the world we live in and the traps of the enemy we face. After the screening, there was a time of testimony, as the film was based on a true story. Following the testimony, we gave the altar call, followed by a time of ministry where the Holy Spirit moved powerfully!
